Ring of Resilience

A Crash-test for Opera and Co-creation

interdisciplinary project (2017-2021)

RING OF RESILIENCE is a Rotterdam version of the opera Ring des Nibelungen (Richard Wagner); a series of performances, games, urban dialogues and film that explores future scenarios for life in the city.

To become resilient, we went in search of a new story that binds. To do so, we looked in centuries-old traditions and stories combined with today's thinking and new technology.

Rotterdam is research and working ground, stage and script. Rotterdammers are our (co)makers and players.

RING OF RESILIENCE is a co-production of LITTLE WOTAN & O.Festival.
